19TH C SATINWOOD TRAY

A Late 19th Century Octagonal Satinwood Tray. With a raised frieze in chequered satinwood and walnut, surrounding a centre inlaid with a boxwood and nettle wood conche shell. The tray with a rounded ebonized foot rim, and mounted to either end with brass scroll handles. Date circa 1880. Height 2 1/2 inches, 6.5cm. Width 23 1/2 inches, 60cm. Depth 14 1/2 inches, 37cm.
