An Early 19th Century Glass Decanter. With an outward tapering reeded stopper, fitting within the rim of the triple ringed neck, the rings with facet decoration. The shoulders with outward spreading fluted panels, over the body decorated with stars, interspersing the arcaded banding, as rising flutes enclose ovals of alternating hobnail and hatched decoration. The lower body with a band of slice cut fluting, tapering inward to the circular foot. The underside with star burst decoration. Date circa 1820. Height 11 1/2 inches, 29cm. Diameter 5 inches, 13cm.
