A Large 18th Century Tin Glaze Bowl. The bowl with a scalloped rim to an interior with yellow and ochre banding, from which fall scrolled leaf reserves filled with sprigs of flowers. The centre of the bowl with likewise yellow and ochre banding, enclosing a scene of a basket of flowers, with a garden wall and follies in the background, as birds fly above. The outer body of the bowl with swept rounded reeding, falling to a small foot rim. Date circa 1770. Height 4 inches, 10cm. Width 12 1/4 inches, 31cm. Depth 12 1/4 inches, 31cm.Ref:
