A Large 18th Century Delft Apothecary Jar. The jar with a raised rim, over the rounded shoulders, and waisted body, before a rounded lower body, raised up on a chamfered foot rim. The jar decorated with bowed and rising leaves, enclosing the title of the contents 'OLEUM RICINI'. Date circa 1740. Height 11 1/2 inches, 29cm. Diameter 8 1/2 inches, 22cm.
