A Large 18th Century Delft Apothecary Jar. The jar with an outswept rim, over the rounded and waisted body, sweeping to a short waisted stem, spreading to the domed foot, with a stepped and rounded foot rim, enclosing the hollow underside. The body mounted with a leaf relief spout, and scrolled handle. The jar decorated with an entwined scrolling reserve, with leaf pendants. Date circa 1750. Height 9 3/4 inches, 25cm.
