18TH C DELFT JAR

An 18th Century Delft Jar. The jar with an outswept rim, over rounded shoulders, as the body tapers in a gentle curve to the circular foot. The body decorated with a vibrant reserve of scrolling and spreading flowers with lattice grounds. The reserve topped by a flower filled vase. The reserve titled 'B RAPPE'. Date circa 1740. Height 11 1/2 inches, 29cm. Diameter 9 1/2 inches, 24cm.
