An Unusual 18th Century Dish. The dish with an outward folded rim, the rim decorated with a scroll and winged banding, finished with blue lining and arches. The rim gently curving to a centre filled with a border of leaves and ferns emerging from a scrolled ground. The decoration finished with blue line banding, enclosing a scene of a rising flower amongst scrolling leaves. The rear of the dish decorated with circles and stars, surrounding the raised foot rim. Date circa 1770. Height 2 1/4 inches, 6cm. Diameter 13 3/4 inches, 35cm.Ref: 23379
